12/8/2021 His Heart for Our Generation
Hey friends,
I will be posting steady blog updates to this page covering all things Kingdom. We are at a tipping point as we have left one era and entered another over the past two years. This season is for the mature and seasoned warriors who have spent years in the refining processes that God requires of those who will carry Him to all four corners of the earth. He has released such amazing treasures to our generation but it is futile to think we will walk in the fullness of those things without opposition. Each generation of Kingdom warriors have something required of them, a challenge or crisis that must be met in order that the gospel would continue to advance and the name of Jesus will increase in the earth, despite whatever challenges we are faced with.
Acts 13:36 says “Now when David had served God’s purpose in his own generation, he fell asleep; he was buried with his ancestors and his body decayed. “ This is such a powerful statement. We cannot serve God’s purposes for another generation. The great commission doesn’t change, however the Spirit gives different emphasis of wisdom and revelation to each generation depending upon what is required of that generation. The world we are currently living in is in crisis. There is an accelerated and unparalleled hurtling towards the end of time. It’s important that we recognize the signs of the times while still fulfilling the purpose that God destined for us in our own generation. He chose each one of us to occupy seats of His authority and power during the most crucial our in history.
Romans 8:18 says “All of creation is groaning, waiting in eager expectations for the children of God to be revealed.” That’s us. It’s talking about the manifestation of the power and glory of God, which we have an obligation to exemplify in our generation. If not us, who? He didn’t choose anyone else to stand in this new decade fraught with challenges, fear and opposition to truth. He chose us to be a beacon, a voice and a sound in the land that offers hope, points the way to truth and reflects the heart of the Father. We have a weighty responsibility upon us as the most well-equipped generation in many centuries. Never has prayer, fasting, true community or most of all love, been more important.
We need to be about the Father’s business because night time is swiftly approaching when no man can work (John 9:4). It’s time to be equipped by the Spirit for the task at hand. It’s not a time to follow man, seek platforms or build our brand. It’s time to be real, vulnerable and to genuinely care more about reflecting the heart of Jesus for this generation than we do Christian commercialism. Will you be a voice? Voices often suffer, they are martyred, they are misunderstood, they give everything. Start where you are. You don’t need a plan, the plan is already in place. Know Him and make Him known. Jesus is with you. Ask for His heart. Love and blessings, Charles
